Your portrait will be a "one of a kind," unique work of art. When completed it will last for centuries and speak magnificently to all who see it, both now and for generations to come. Considering this, much thought should be given to its size and the elements that will perfectly complete the final composition.

Each portrait is priced individually. A fee is determined after artist and patron discover the following:
1) The amount of the figure to be painted. Will the portrait be head and shoulders only? Will it include the person's hands or the entire figure?
2) Other elements. Will the composition include furniture, knickknacks, other memorabilia, or an animal perhaps? Will the background show an outdoor scene, a structure, or be plain and simple? Perhaps very intricate clothing would be appropriate.
3) Large sizes. Extra elements in the composition, or where the portrait will be displayed, may warrant a larger composition.
4) Additional figures in one composition are charged at 75%.

Commissions

Commissions are accepted with a 50% retainer fee payable seven to ten days before commencement of the portrait. The balance is due in full upon completion and delivery of the portrait (unless prearranged otherwise.) All payments are non refundable.

Schedule

A study session is conducted by the artist at the patron's location or in the artist's studio, at the patron's convenience. The session may include photography, sketching and notes. If necessary the artist will meet with the patron for final approval of the composition. Toward completion of the portrait the patron may be asked to pose for a final sitting.

Travel

All expenses pertaining to the commission—air fare, car, hotel and miscellaneous—will be additional.

Revisions

Upon delivery of the portrait the patron is allowed one revision, if necessary. However, any other revisions will be charged accordingly in conjunction with distance, time, and extent of revision.
